What does God want to say to you? Come find out, at Clearwater Lodge.

Clearwater Women’s Conference

September 24-26, 2021
Speaker: Lindsey Smallwood
Look Up: Lessons from Philemon & Colossians – Each of us face unique journeys: the joys and challenges both seen and unseen that shape the course of our lives. But no matter where we find ourselves, Christ appears in the center, holding all things together and inviting us to real life in His kingdom. Join us as we engage with the encouraging truths of Paul’s letters to Philemon and the Colossians and discover the ways their timeless messages still matter very much today.

Returning as speaker to the Clearwater Women’s Conference, Lindsey Smallwood is a writer and speaker living in the San Francisco Bay Area. With years of previous experience in pastoral ministry, she is a skilled retreat facilitator who loves scripture and storytelling. Her life experiences include serving as a campus pastor at Stanford University, and teaching 4th and 5th grade students with autism, down syndrome, and other cognitive issues. Lindsey currently works as a middle school humanities teacher and serves on the preaching team in her local church. She and her husband Chris, a physics professor, are also busy raising four young boys.

“I had been a follower of Jesus for a number of years when, at age 29, I attended a weekend retreat led by the late Brennan Manning. During that weekend I went from knowing about God’s grace to knowing God’s grace. It was the turning point of my life. When I heard John Lynch speak it brought me back to that life-changing weekend. God is using John’s message of grace to set people free; even long-time followers of Jesus. I’m thrilled to have John with us at this year’s men’s conference, and urge you to join us and experience God’s heart of grace for you.”

Clearwater Men’s Conference

November 19-21, 2021
Speaker: John Lynch

God’s grace is always the answer—not simply for entering the kingdom of heaven, which many of us understand, but for living well in that kingdom, which most of us do not experience. Most have a mental awareness of God’s grace, but little experiential reality of God’s grace in their relationships.

As a world-class communicator, John is a vital Trueface staff member. Trueface is a ministry equipping people to experience authentic relationships with God and others. In addition to speaking internationally with the Trueface team since 1997, John has co-authored The Cure, Bo’s Café, Behind The Mask, and his own story, On My Worst Day.

John served for 27 years as teaching pastor at Open Door Fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona. The authenticity, longevity, and playfulness of these two communities, Trueface and Open Door, bring real-world reality and potency to the message of Trueface. John used his love for theater as a playwright and actor in Sharkey Productions, a troupe focused on gospel-anchored theater productions for those still seeking Jesus.

John and his wife Stacey often create inviting environments on their backyard patio and elsewhere for people to enjoy authentic community. They are passionate parents to their three children, Caleb married to Kali, with granddaughters Maci and Payton; Amy married to Cody, with grandkids Ridge and Navy; and Carly.
